I'm a dream

I tried to blog from iPhone last time using BlogWriter or something and guessed what? After typing around 500 words (yes that much! and thumb-typing!) I wanted to check a word on the dictionary application and when I returned to BlogWriter, THEY'RE GONE. 500 words were not saved! Stupid application grrrr. My thumb started feeling numb afterward.. bummer.

Another suck incident happened was last night, when a COCKROACH out of the blue appeared on my sister's bed. I was just about to sleep, I've turned off the light and I saw something moving. My gawd I nearly kissed it -__- I tried to get rid of it but it kept on escaping. Finally I draw lines with that cockroach-and-ants-remover chalk and went to sleep. So today I asked my housemaid to change the bed cover and to search for the cockroach. After searching every corner and place ( every!) in my room, it turned out to be nowhere. Mom and dad said I was probably dreaming last night .__. It's impossible! I even had goosebumps because of the dancing cockroach! OHMY

Lately I've been reaaaaaaaaally busy with SEALNet. I'm going to tell everything about it later. SEALNet is my everyday life now. It's like going to school! haha I have to meet my SEALNet friends literally everyday! Anyway, tomorrow will be our first outreach to Panti Asuhan Pelita Kasih. We're gonna teach them about hygiene and sanitation! I hope they will welcome us :)

I also hope I can blog everyday. At least a post to describe my day.. yeah I shall start doing that! :D

Health is priceless.

My housemaid fell very sick yesterday. She puked everything she's swallowed that day. Not to mention the diarrhea she had. She was brought to the doctor yesterday evening but still didn't seem to have got better today.
She's always been a great help at house work - she did everything. She was hospitalized this morning. I can only pray she'll recover in no time.

My parents and I reached Singapore just 3 hours ago. On board just now, my runny nose caused a big torture to me. My right ear was going to explode, I swear. Since then, I kept on feeling nauseous. I could puke anytime. And now, I've gone back and forth to the toilet, swallowed this and that pills. I hope I'll recover soon too. I'm not gonna waste this short trip by falling sick. Amithofo _/|\_

Above are pictures taken in 2 friends' birthday parties; Juvenia and Jesica. Honestly, both of us had never attended a party together, or hang out at night, before these two. Those were special and unforgettable nights, that's why. ;)

Another reason to call it a sweet night was when our names were called by Jesica, along with other couples, to compete in a game. This game was not tricky, but the MC said, it could prove one's loyalty to another. LoL. There were five couples being called out. Each man in the couple had to finish a bottle of water, well that's what I thought at first. The bottle was the one infants usually use to drink. You know, the one with 'dodot'. And us girls had to place it anywhere, besides holding it with our hands, to let the man drink it. I ran out of idea where to place while other couples had decided. Many suggested to put it in between my neck and my shoulder, so I just went for it.

After the game had started, the secret began to reveal. Besides the men, no one would know how the water tasted. Turned out it was water with abundant of salt! The form was like soda water. Man, I can't imagine how salty it must be! When other couples had given up drinking, my boy, Hendrik just couldn't stop. It seemed as though the water was just plain water. People were cheering, telling him to stop drinking, or he would feel nauseous. Then he stopped. But the MC just wasn't satisfied, he got all the men drinking again, just to see who the winner was. I didn't know all of the men had given up then, because mine was still fighting til the end. And he did it. He finished drinking each drop of it.

Before the game, I told him, 'It's our first game, we should win this.' That was what kept him going, he told me. I doubted him at first, and it challenged him. All of the guys gave up, but not him. Call me silly, but I was beyond proud of him. This game had proven something, and it's meaningful for us. :)

The Royal Wedding!!

Many have different views about The Royal Wedding. For me, it's a fairylike-like. I didn't even know Prince and Princess exist in reality before. People all over the world, not only British, were zeal with The Royal Wedding. They sent their blessing for the-now-Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Isn't it like a dream comes true? But I personally would not like to be in her shoes. There would be less freedom, number one. Number two, I would have to act not like myself, or in other words, fake. Three, there are even certain rules in speaking! There comes four, five, and endless rules. Well of course, I'm just imagining 'if I were'. Lols :P

A year ago.. 04/29/10

 

We called ourselves, SSP (Siao Siao Po, :p). A year ago, on 29th April  was the historical day for us. 12 of us to be exact. We kind of had a huge dispute that nearly split us several weeks before this day. Then, on this date, all of us gathered to speak up. We said things we felt disturbing or wrong done by others, only among us. Some muttered their displease, some others played defense. In the end of the day, all of us cried. Funny thing was, we called them tears of happiness. 

So here we are this year, celebrating the memorable day. This time no one cried, and we have one more in the group! It's now 13 of us. Too bad that day not all could join the lunch..
